2009 Spring Gathering
What a weekend, people from all over the US coming together under one roof to share ideas and techniques.
I got a chance to meet Guro Mel Hebert from California this weekend, what a nice guy. He has studied a different form of Kuntao than I have been exposed to but we were not able to spend much time exchanging ideas. He went one way- I was pulled in another. Still, the week end was a blast. If you didn't make it there- na na na na na na I did!
Photos will be up soon.

It was a great weekend, Buzz! It's always a pleasure to have you there. I'm gonna do my best to drag Mel there again next year so we can both pick his brain more.
Looking forward to seeing you again soon!
Chuck
we'll get you guys hooked up again man, no worries!
Great to see you again!
I heard that Mushtaq is no longer involved in the gathering? What's up with that???
If it is true that would be a large hole left!
Mushtaq is perusing a career as a concert cellist with the London Philharmonic Orchestra, in between coordinating bridal showers for the Rhodesian government and his hectic schedule as an Arctic surveyor for National Geographic. We wanted him to come, but He's hooking up with Marlin Perkins to bring back Mutual of Omaha's "Wild Kingdom" this year.
They want him to wrestle a 30 foot boa constrictor.
Hey where are those photo's Buzz!
